Glendale, the East Side, and Milwaukee’s North Shore

Glendale wasn’t formally incorporated until 1950, but the city reflects forces that surfaced miles south and decades earlier. This talk will sketch in the historical context of a community that has confusing borders but a distinctive place in the landscape of Milwaukee County.
